It's too bad her books are more appropriate for older students (since I'm teaching 2nd grade), but at least I can enjoy them!Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04063094220926450294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6797797707208777733.post-58781045984249133612014-09-29T20:46:31.190-07:002014-09-29T20:46:31.190-07:00Hey Lisa! I really enjoyed The Fault in Our Stars... I think that was the beginning of my fascination with young adult fiction.
And yes, the year in Italy was definitely worth a few extra pounds. :)Ericahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04063094220926450294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6797797707208777733.post-48712168560609912662014-09-29T09:52:04.330-07:002014-09-29T09:52:04.330-07:00I recently listened to Flora and Ulysses on CD dur...I recently listened to Flora and Ulysses on CD during my commute. It isn't ANYTHING AT ALL like the Divergent series. It is, however, a middle school book by Kate DiCamillo. I love her. It's so funny. You might like Landry Park. I forget the author! Have a great week!
Jan
Laughter and ConsistencyJanCThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16323714603094527618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6797797707208777733.post-2064399586811108722014-09-28T14:20:50.360-07:002014-09-28T14:20:50.360-07:00I cleaned out my closets last week. I also heard that the last one is infuriating when it ends. I stopped after Insurgent. I have been reading similar books lately on recommendation of my 13-year old daughter. The Fault in Our Stars is a good read, way better than the movie if you saw it.

A year in Italy sounds awesome! Totally would be worth an extra size in my book!
Mary
4th WorksMary Dresselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13075041481724481705noreply@blogger.com
